If you have forgotten your password and cannot access your MBC Shahid account, here are the steps to reset it. However, when you create a new password, please ensure it contains a minimum of 8 characters that are a combination of letters and numbers. Additionally, note that the password's length should not exceed 60 characters. 


If your username is an email address: 
  

1. Click here  
2. Enter your email address 
3. Click on "Reset Password”. 
4. Click on the link received to create a new unique valid password. 

An email will be sent with a password reset link that will be valid for 24 hours from receipt time. 

If your username is a phone number: 
 

1. Click here 
2. Enter your phone number (Without Country Code, +, or 00) Example: (5213XXXX) 
3. Click on "Reset Password"  
4. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number valid for 2 minutes from receipt time 
5. Enter the OTP received on your mobile number 
6. Create a new unique valid password 

 
If you are unable to receive the OTP, make sure to click (Resend OTP) in order to receive it on your mobile number once you complete 120 seconds 
 
If you already know your password and would like to change it, here’s how you can do it. 

If you are using a Web browser, simply follow the steps below: 
 

1. Login to your account  
2. Go to my account settings. 
3. Click on change password 
4. Enter your current password and create a new unique valid password. 

If you are using the app, simply follow the steps below: 
 

1. Login to your account  
2. Click on the avatar icon below 
3. Go to my account 
4. Click on change password 
5. Enter your current password and create a new unique valid password.
